This Terms of Service applies to the web service "HooMap" provided by Wingscape Digital, a sole trader business operating in Australia (ABN: 84 343 795 565).
1. Information We Collect
We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide the service. We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information.
- Email address (for account creation and authentication)
- User identifiers (for authentication and session management)
- Technical information (such as IP address, browser type, and device information)
2. Application Data Handling
In HooMap, user-uploaded spreadsheet files (such as CSV or Excel) and geographic data (including latitude and longitude information) are treated as application data. These data are processed entirely within the user's browser and are not transmitted to or stored on our servers. As a result, such data remains on the user's device, and we do not access its contents unless the user explicitly shares or exports them. For account management and abuse prevention, authentication information, session data, and profile images (stored via Supabase) may be processed and stored on our servers.
In addition, future enhancements or feature updates may introduce server-side processing or storage of application data. In such cases, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly, and users will be notified where appropriate.
3. Third-Party Services
HooMap uses the following third-party services for its operation. These services may process information such as IP address, user ID, email address, and session information. We do not use user data for commercial purposes beyond service operation and improvement.
- Stripe (payment processing and billing)
- Supabase / Better Auth (authentication and user management)
- Cloudflare (networking, security, and caching)
- Vercel (hosting and deployment)
- Sentry (error monitoring and performance analytics)
- Resend (email delivery)
4. Error Monitoring and Analytics
We may use tools such as Sentry to collect and analyze error and performance data. This data is used solely for improving the service and fixing issues. The information collected may include:
- Device and browser information
- Session information
- User ID (when logged in)
- Error stack traces and performance data
5. Data Retention
We retain only necessary account-related information for as long as the account remains active. Application data is not stored on our servers.
6. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user information. However, no method of transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Password Protection
All user passwords are encrypted using industry-standard, one-way cryptographic hashing algorithms (such as bcrypt or Argon2) before being stored. This process is irreversible by design — the original plaintext password cannot be reconstructed or retrieved from the stored hash.
As a result, system administrators, support staff, and any personnel with access to our infrastructure cannot view, access, read, or recover your actual password. If you forget your password, we can only facilitate a password reset; we cannot provide your existing password.
We strongly recommend that users choose a unique, strong password that is not reused across other services.
7. User Rights
Users may request access, correction, or deletion of their personal data. Users may also opt out of non-essential communications.
8. International Data Transfers
User information may be processed in countries where our third-party service providers operate, including the United States and other regions.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
